I am pretty far through making my fallen realms 1000pts army. my theme is to build a fluff driven army that is hard hitting at the same time. i am using my three favorite factions and will only have their leaders or anything from their section ie. the knight of umbar, Dalamyr, corsair arbalasters for the corsairs section. so far this is what i am planning.

Amdur 165pts
Dalamyr 100pts

War mumak 250pts
2 companies of watcher war-band with bows 80pts

4 companies of easterlings with pikes 140pts Amdur goes here.
4 companies of corsairs with shields 120pts Dalamyr goes here.
4companies of Serpent riders 120pts
with tokens of terror.

when i go up to 1500 haradrim come more into it.
but here is the thing i realized that eventually i would have enough easterlings to make an entire easterling list with a few extra things, but i am wondering are dragon knights worth it and how are they meant to be used.

Dragon Knights are awesome: they give you F7 for a company or F8 with pikes, they are great for killing characters/captains, give you a little Might, allow you to At the Double! and are cheaper than captains.

Essentially, use them as captains, but save 15 points and get better fight

P.S. Any spare Easterlings? ;D (particularly with pikes )

Ya to get four companies with pikes its eight boxes of easterlings which is eight companies of swords and shields and archers. break them into fours put a few dragon knights, banners and amdur and kamul and so on. like there isn't much to it.
