I'm considering getting into the game and found this site was well organized and whatnot. So I figured I'd join and learn what I can, maybe meet some nice local folks along the way (even though I realize I'm in Illinois, which isn't exactly close to the UK) |

I'm out in the Elgin/Algonquin area, so I'm in the burbs further away from the city, but I'd like to see who's around. |

I'm English, so you'll have to forgive my ignorance of the geography of the area. My impression though, in the States, is that unless you're lucky or have convinced people in your existing friends group to play, you'll likely have to be willing to travel to get a game. |

Hi ErsatzGnomes - welcome to the One Ring. The site isn't really an English community, despite its .co.uk domain name., It's run by people from pretty much every timezone around the planet. There are a few guys from around Chicago here, but I appreciate that it's a BIG city. Hope you find someone close by. |
