Hey One Ring,

After several mentions about this community on the awesome The Great British Hobbit League-youtube channel I decided to take a look and join this forum.

So far I've seen lots of great miniatures and read some interesting discussions. I'll do my best to start contributing as soon as possible.

The release of The Hobbit Strategy Battle Game made me start this part of the warhammer-hobby aside from my Warhammer Fantasy armies (Warriors of Chaos and Orcs & Goblins for those interested).

Since I don't know a lot of LOTR/Hobbit SBG'ers who are active in or near 'my' local GW I haven't been playing a lot of battles. Hopefully this can be changed in the near future. So, are there any Dutch among you? Also, attending a future event organized by GBL would be awesome! :-D

Not in the area though, but quite some people from the Low Countries here, so you may well find others.

I'm form the netherlands. I live in Tilburg and mostly game in GW Eindhoven. There is quite a lot of lotr gaming activity there. I've been to GW Rotterdam only once so don't really know any of the managers of gamers there.

I'm also from the Netherlands, personally living in Utrecht (and sometimes in Middelburg). There are a few Dutchies here though, check this out: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3428

yeah I know. haven't really had the chance of meeting and gaming with one of the dutch OR guys yet..

I have a friend (who uses this OR account as well) who plays a lot of SBG in GW eindhoven. We both like to play WOTR at home because we have HUGE armies. (elves, dwarves, moria, mordor, rohan, harad)
