I'm thinking about starting to play the game, which is better: SBG or WotR?
I currently have:
51 figures (no heroes)
and have 5 figures (all heroes) in the post...
any help?

It's really a matter of opinion as to which is better. However, WotR requires a lot more models, so for someone just starting out SBG is probbly a better option. Then when you've built up your collection, you could always try WotR.

Has Longbottom Leaf has said: it's all personal preference and based on how many models you have. 51 non-hero models allows a maximum of 6 companies and 5 hero models will be too many for a starting WotR army. SBG may be best until you can get some more basic troops and plan out the army ahead of buying the models, but I find WotR far more enjoyable (but that's just me). |
