Who would you take to battle.. Either .... Gil-Galad, Elrond, Gandalf the Grey and Radagast, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Boromir (normal boro), Faramir, Damrod and King Dain or . . . 500 Orcs (including an orc drummer and 10 orc captains xD) |

this should porbs be in off topic or something but id the orcs theres now way they could stand that sort of punishment theyd have to kill 255 to get them to break which is impossible |

Sorry for necromancing guys, its only about 2 weeks and its an interesting topic i would say. I don't think for sure the 500 orcs would win, it largely depends on the terrain. In a flat, mostly terrainless environment there's no doubt about the orcs winning, even if they just used their bows thats over 150 arrows lol. However, if there are lots of hills or perhaps played somewhere where there is a narrow choke point (300 comes to mind), I think the heroes could win. Gandalf can cast blasts against the orcs. The orc drummer can easily be killed with legolas. Elrond, Gil galad, aragorn, boromir, faramir and dain are just uber heroes and can kill loads of orcs. Plus elrond can cast nature's wrath, with strengthening from gandalf. And thats just for pitch battles. Now lets consider other scenarios: to kill a king, COC, domination. Well the heroes will lose in domination but I think they have a very good chance at the first two. Just thought I would add my opinion to this thread. |

i would take the heroes and just heroic move all over to avoid the orks for as many turns as possible 
im sure it would make for a very annoying battle
