SO What I am planing to do is make a huge battle. The battle is based on the battle of Gettysburg sort of.
There will be a city on a 4x8 board.
All around, there will be a certain number of strategic outposts that each player needs to get.
Once these places are taken, they need to be held for 3 days(speacial rules)

Again, I am Just throwing out Ideas that I think Would work.

It will be GOndor and the Fiefdoms vs Mordor, Harad, And THe Easterlings.

So anyone who would like to help me design this, please tell me! I will need people to playteset mini parts of it, designers for the board, speacial rules, and someone who is good with writing scenarios in general!

Please, help me make this a great battle!

This sounds more like a campaign than a single match.

Your really going to have a tough time doing gettysburg...the majority of that battle was waiting. Then a mad rush by Pickett that was doomed from the start then the South retreated and the North claimed a victory. The battle itself was a very boring turning point for the North.
Doing First Bullrun/Manassas would make a more intresting battle. Or the battle at the Potamac where Lee was trapped by the two rivers then Jackson came with reineforcements and Lee was able to slip past McClellan....that would make a good battle.

on a roll of 1,2 or 3 good is the south. 4,5 or 6 evil is the south.

1000pts for the south, 1200pts for the north
South sets up 600pts (must include an elected general)
North sets up 1200pts

The south set up first between two impassable rivers that meet at a v.
Then the norths sets up 40" away.
After 8 turns Jackson arrives with reinforcements (400pts)

Objectives:
Major victory (south): Elected General + 50% of force escape of the board edge.
Minor victory (south): Elected General + 25% of force escape of the board.
Draw: Elected General escapes but no more than 25% escape
Minor victory (north): Elected General + 25% of force killed
Major victory (north): Elected General + Jackson + 50% of force killed.
