Post subject:  Highlighting

As you may have seen from my blog (viewtopic.php?f=50&t=18042&start=0) I have started highlighting but im stuck on a couple of colours.

They are:

Catachan Green and Liche Purple.

So my main question is, what would you highlight these colours with (using GW paints and preferably not mixing)?
I hope you guys can help.

Just adding white can sometimes be just as good.

The old Return of the King rulebook suggests Camo Green for Catachan and None - meaning add white - for Liche Purple. I have always added white to Liche Purple for highlights and usually Rotting Flesh to Catachan Green. I think Camo Green is not very suitable highlight colour for Catachan, no matter how much GW used to suggest it, because to my eye their tone is completely different. Sorry, couldn't find you no-mix colours... :-)

That's fine I thought I would have to resort to mixing anyway. I'll be picking up some rotting flesh to mix up. Thanks to both of you. The catachan green is for my space marines and the purple is for my dunlendings.

I like to use a bit of bleached bone for catachan green. For purple, I recommend elf flesh, as I've seen it used for reddish sort of colours, and have used it myself more than once. It lightens the paint without being too pale like what white does.
