Good article, nothing special - just good.
I never liked the Isildur sculpt honnestly (I don't like the pose) but it works inspiring! I might try a NMM sword someday... NMM is a hard technique and you master it very well Mr. Bucky.

Thanks for this great addition to OR.

The stages are detailed very nicely, with clear photographs combined with well-phrased sentences and paragraphs. Isildur looks very good and you have put a lot of effort into him.

I'm not the biggest fan of NMM, but I think it can look brilliant on display pieces (although I can never get chainmail to look right).

So, I think you may have convinced me to try my hand at NMM again.
Thanks Bart!

I can only second what the others said:

very well descriptions with good size and rows of images, making it possible to see and compare the single steps with ease. and helping to repeat them at one's own work

not at mine, though ... I'll never become a fan of NMM I understand it much better now and admire your skills and patience in doing so. and that you want to help others achieving this as well.

Post subject:  Special

:D I have to say that I disagree with Potenza, this is something special!

You have shown and explained the stages of your nmm painting very clearly and concisely. The presentation of the article is excellent and the painting itself is top-notch.

Very well done, TBB. :D

Sorry Potenza but that any NMM that comes out looking like this is most definitely special. I am awful at this technique and you make it look so easy. Nicely laid out and a wonderful end result

10/10 :D

I've read this article a while ago but forgot to leave a comment. Great job, as usually - very well written, with excellent pictures that make following the process of painting it much easier.

Thanks for submitting it!

Cheers,
Viruk
