I play a couple of Fantasy Flight games other LCG's (living card games not to be confused with the Collectible Card game genre which uses random rarities and blind buy purchases for its money pit marketing strategy) and I enjoy them.

Easier on the wallet than a CCG and the mechanics are often quite good for the LCG's.

It may not be for everyone but it is definitely something to keep an eye out for since there hasnt been a LotR card game since Iron Crown Enterprises went under.

Plus, this can be a single player game as well.

There was a card game from Decipher - using movie stills. It was well recommended.

It looks like its riffing off the same art and concepts as the FFG boardgames, and maybe the upcoming The One Ring RPG.

Might be interesting, if i have some spare money after christmas (as if!)
