Yeah I mean its more then the old days but its a lot better then the finecast releases. Its not cheap but its could be worse lol. Probably means people will collect like 700-1000 points instead of huge 2000 point armies like some people have from the LOTR range. Or maybe only armies from one or two factions instead of collecting a handful. I dunno, cool to see more toys either way.

I'm waiting for all of the Gundabad stuff before even considering making an order.

Im doing exactly the same. The postage is ridiculous so hopefully I'll only have to make a couple of orders to save a bit of money at least :p

The Gundabad Ogres can now be preordered on FW. They seem to have a sand like rough texture on all skin parts (so everywhere) which I didn't notice on previous fotos. Will be quite interesting to paint them up

Idk if you're from the US but there's also a bogus sales tax thrown inthrough a loophole.

That's a government thing and it goes both ways. I get hit real bad whenever I order anything from the US to the UK.

Gundabad Ogres are both a Monster and a Warrior for the Azog’s Legion army list, allowing you to take multiples of these vile creatures in a warband.

Can we infer from this that there will a limit to the number of monsters allowed in a warband in the future?

No, it's just a common question.

does anyone know if there are plans to re-release the mirkwood elves in plastic / forgeworld resin in the future? I really want a mirkwood army, but I begrudge paying £15 for 3 models made in that finecast rubbish ; I got the iron hills army for christmas & the quality is so much better, there's no comparison

One model I would love to see would be a sculpt of Bombur blowing that big horn from the Battle of Five Armies when the dwarves make their charge...

That would be really cool! Although this would rather become another event exclusive mini I'd guess.
I remember seeing a really impressive conversion of Bombur with horn standing on a piece of wall. Can't remember where but you can find it with Google.

The conversion was done by Matt Davies of Generation Shift

Has anyone from the US placed an order larger than $500? $1000? Was there any Import Duty tax. I want to place an order but want to make sure I don't have to pay a substantial duty tax on top of the cost of the order.

Very soon the gw/fgw's resin weight will be easily comparable with the gold's weight. I can easily imagine it in the economic news bulletin :P

And one old but still well-timed sketch:

The great big Forge World Weathertop model is back on the website. 255 GBP (which converts to about 320 USD). So pretty, so expensive, I need to be really nice to my wife...

You could always sell your wife.

Sweet baby jesus lol. The Goats are so pricey. I've bought all the ironhills stuff so far and been pretty happy to do so but those are now double even the Rivendell knights cost? ffffffffff

The weathertop is of course gorgeous as well but if perhaps I don't have student loans or car payments I could consider it lol.

I really want a gundabad troll though.. hope they aren't much more then the balista..
