nice find

and something for the sbg rules(propably released in the next wd)
:
Skirmish Game
The Abrakhân Merchant Guard are excellent elite light infantry. Armed with two-handed weapons (but able to wield them without penalty) and benefiting from Strength 4 they are able to smash their way through heavily armoured troops with incredible ease. Use them to bolster your Haradrim battleline, providing your ranks of spearmen with some real killing power (just remember that you can't spear through them, so you'll need to move them carefully).

Oh bloody hell. So they're not even using the 'Eavy Metal team to paint anymore. This is disgraceful![/list]

No, that's good, maybe they'll get smart and invite Tidoco, Olofer, Darkwind and some others on this site to join them. :-D

Fairly useful article, I personally don't like the little guys but I can steal there steps for painting blue cloth. 8)

Or wonderful, depending upon your proficiency with a paintbrush.

It would sound cool to be part of the painting team, but they're paid absolute pants anyways, so in a way, you wouldn't want to be on the team.

It's bad because they're just teaching really really bad techniques to the masses. Extreme highlighting is not meant for EVERY little nook and cranny.

Try using the wayback machine to see the past

https://web.archive.org/web/20070915045 ... ftherings/

You can view articles, but it hasn't saved a lot of the pictures, and a lot of the paints are outdated, so most of the painting guides will be hard to follow if not useless.

Additionally, some of the PDFs that used to be on the Games Workshop website have been saved by the DC hobbit league. Have a look through that if you haven't already.
